location is beautiful and personnel is loyal. pleasant rooms and an excellent breakfast, fine base for visiting appleby. lots of restaurants to eat close by, like the three greyhounds inn that was only 15 minutes' walk away.

Our stay here was relaxing, right place for exploring Appleby. Royal Oak Inn, where you can eat, is just walking distance from the hotel. A free Wi-Fi is available everywhere.
